NJ Marriage Equality Headed to Senate: The New Jersey Senate Judiciary Committee has voted the marriage equality bill onward--it will be discussed in the Senate as early as Thursday.

  1. As much as I so badly want this to pass the Senate, I'm nervous about it. The NJ senate is 23-17 Democrat-controlled, at least two of whom are against marriage equality (though at least one of the Republicans is for it). I can hope for its passage, but I fear it will do little good.
