"Fab" Friday?

I invite you to stop by Duke's Center for LGBT Life today from 4-6 for "Fab Friday." But I think you should know that the Center is frequented by more than just the fab*.

Among the regular attendees of Fab Friday and other events at the Center are:

Sports enthusiasts
Women
Athletes
Allies
Frat-stars
Pratt-stars
Sorority sisters
Conservatives
Liberals
Artists
Scientists
Musicians
(Future) Politicians
Tar-Heels
Blue Devils
Potential friends.

So if you have preconceived notions of the types of people that go (or don't go) to the Center, I'd advise you to come by this afternoon. I think you'll pleasantly surprised.

*Not that theres anything wrong with being fab, of course.

  1. I think it's safe to say, that the first time I went to a Fab Friday, I was absolutely terrified. I even asked a certain someone (hi!!) to be my "wing-woman" for about, the first three or four times. I think that mainly had to do with my own nervousness about going to my First-ever Fab Friday, but if Matt's post doesn't convince you to go to Fab Friday today (or any other Friday), I'd totally recommend the wing-person approach. It's a ton of fun if you go with a friend! (Of course, you'll probably already know people there, but I suppose my first few times I enjoyed the sure-knowledge that she'd be there with me.)
